Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 September 2026
These terms explain the use of the Relocation Ready website and the basis on which you can enquire about relocation support. Relocation Ready was founded by Mathew Vines. Questions and complaints can be sent to hello@relocationready.co.uk.
Our support
We provide practical relocation guidance, with an initial focus on London. The Services page describes our free one-hour relocation call, free relocation pack, home search and viewing support, settling-in essentials, schools and family support, and tailored packages.
The free call and pack do not commit you to paid services. Appointments are subject to availability. A website enquiry is not a confirmed booking or an instruction to start paid work.
Agreeing paid work
Before you commit, we will provide a written proposal or service agreement identifying the service provider and business contact details, the scope of work, fees, any applicable taxes and agreed expenses, payment arrangements, timing and cancellation terms. Work outside that scope requires a further agreement. A “from” price is a starting indication; your confirmed quote explains the total or how it will be calculated.
Service-specific written terms apply to your booking alongside these terms. Neither can remove statutory consumer rights. Keep a copy of your proposal, acceptance and these terms.
What to expect
We will carry out agreed services with reasonable care and skill. Please give us accurate, relevant information and tell us promptly if your plans or requirements change. We will discuss the effect of any change on the scope, timing or cost before agreeing additional work.
Property availability, rents, school places and decisions by landlords, agents, schools, authorities and other providers are outside our control. We cannot guarantee a particular property, admission, approval, saving or completion date.
Information and specialist advice
Website articles and free resources provide general information. Rules, prices and availability can change, so check current details before making a commitment. Relocation guidance is not a substitute for advice from a qualified legal, immigration, tax, mortgage, financial or survey professional where needed.
Links and introductions to third parties are provided for convenience. Their services have their own terms and privacy notices. This does not exclude our responsibility for our own service.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange a free call. For paid work, the arrangements will be explained before you book.
If you are a consumer entering an eligible service contract online, by telephone or away from business premises, you normally have 14 days after the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. Tell us clearly by email if you wish to cancel. Any required cancellation information and model form will be provided before you commit.
If you expressly ask us to start during that period and then cancel, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for work properly supplied, where the legal requirements have been met. The right to cancel is lost after full performance only where you have expressly requested early performance and acknowledged that consequence. Any refund due will be made within the legal deadline. These terms do not limit other cancellation or refund rights.
Using the website and resources
You may read, save and print our guidance for personal use. Please do not republish or sell our content without permission. You must not misuse forms, interfere with the website, introduce malicious code or attempt unauthorised access. The website may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
Responsibility and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything the law does not allow us to exclude. Your statutory rights, including the right to services supplied with reasonable care and skill, remain unaffected.
Privacy, concerns and applicable law
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information; our Cookie Policy explains website analytics and your choices.
If something is wrong, email us with the details so we can investigate and discuss a resolution. These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to use courts available under the law of their place of residence.
We may update these website terms and will show the date above. Changes do not retrospectively alter an existing paid agreement without agreement or a legal requirement.
